Add Savvy to the IR

Peter Chiarelli announced today that all star center Marc Savard has been added to the long term IR with a broken left foot. The Bruins have called up Trent Whitfield. The 32 year ld center has played in 177 NHL games with eleven goals and seventeen assists. So far this season in Providence he has 3-6-9 in just six games.
